General Practitioner (GP)- £140,000 per annum – Banbury
Primary Care People are currently working with a Practice to recruit a GP in Banbury, Oxfordshire for a Long-Term 12 month assignment.
This Interim position would provide the suitable candidate with the opportunity to benefit from the remuneration of a traditional Locum position, whilst still benefitting from the security of a Salaried role.
Start date is flexible – of greater importance to our Client is getting the right GP who truly wants a longer term opportunity.
Up to 10 sessions (flexible on the number of sessions) – flexibility to work on the weekend.
Our clients are looking for a GP that can integrate as part of their team and help them improve the Continuity of Care for their patients
Typical day set up – Working hours of 8am to 5pm. 15 face to face patients and three telephone consultations per session. 90 mins of admin. Home visits are very rare due to due to the surgery having and to the visiting service operated across the area.
A very supportive and friendly environment – 3 salaried GPs, 4 regular locums, 2 ANPs, 3 HCAs and 3 practice nurses working at the surgery.
The Interim GP role has been introduced by Primary Care People to “bridge the gap” between salaried and locum GPs. Hence these positions are ideal for General Practitioners (GPs) interested in the Continuity and Quality of Patient Care, the guaranteed income and security of a Salaried position, along with lucrative rates normally only associated with Locum roles.
